Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone leaks seem to come on a daily basis at this point, as fans expect the mode to drop literally any day now. The latest leak comes from YouTube channel Chaos, which uploaded a gameplay video about Warzone that has since been removed, as it was likely published prematurely. Details from the video were preserved before it was taken down, however, revealing a lot about Warzone in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and what it will entail.

According to the video, Warzone supports up to 150 players that can play in solos, duos, and three-person teams. There was no mention of four-player squads like in Black Ops 4's Blackout or other battle royale games, unfortunately. At any rate, Warzone will apparently be free-to-play and does not require players to actually own Modern Warfare, and it will also support cross-play functionality.

Warzone will supposedly feature two different game modes: one is a traditional battle royale mode and the other is Plunder, which will feature respawning and collecting cash on the battle royale map. Cash in Plunder is used to buy killstreaks, get revive tokens, and more. The reviving mechanic isn't as straightforward as it is in other games, though, as players will have to complete a 1v1 fight to the death on the Gulag Gunfight map after they use a revive token.

As far as the Warzone map goes, it's said to be "large" and will be made up on fan favorite maps from past Call of Duty games. Specific maps name-dropped in the video include Broadcast, Overgrown, Scrapyard, and the fan favorite Modern Warfare 2 map Terminal. Terminal has been previously leaked for standard Modern Warfare multiplayer as well, but it's unclear if it will be coming to the game outside of Warzone.

This new Warzone leak corroborates past leaks about the game, though with some exceptions. For example, this Modern Warfare Warzone leak says there's only 150 players in a match, whereas past leaks said the battle royale would support 200 players. Assuming this new leak is accurate, it seems the original player count of 200 players was a bit too ambitious.

Since Chaos seems to have accidentally published the video prematurely, that's a good sign that official Warzone details are about to come sooner rather than later. In fact, it's possible we will hear more about Warzone later today. Fans will just need to stay tuned for more info.
