In prior Call of Duty titles, the sniper scope's glint was less pronounced, allowing snipers to maintain a measure of stealth. Enemy players were still able to spot the sniper's glint from a distance, so the experience was more fair and balanced toward both sides. In Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the scope glint completely masks a sniper's location from a long distance.
