This week, San Diego Studio launched a new series of updates to its content for MLB The Show 22's Diamond Dynasty, including the 15th edition of the Headliners Set, a new Diamond-tier player worth seeking out, and a new Conquest Map to take advantage of. Each piece of content provides players with an opportunity to grab some top-of-the-line units for their lineups.
The 15th edition of the popular Headliners Set features a new member of the Breakout Series in Ralph Kiner. The Hall-of-Fame left-fielder and first baseman represents the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he spent the first eight years of his career. He made six appearances at the MLB All-Star Game from 1948 to 1953 and finished top ten in MVP voting five times during that span. He sports a 94-overall rating in-game and is a Diamond-tier unit, making him one of the best obtainable left fielders in MLB The Show 22.
Players looking to add some heat to their bullpen may want to consider the third Featured Program that just came out, as it includes left-handed pitcher Cole Hamels. His feature card represents the Philadelphia Phillies, where he played for ten seasons, making the All-Star Game four times. As a Diamond-tier with a 90-overall rating, Hamels serves as an excellent addition to any team's pitching roster in MLB The Show 22. Hamels officially arrives in-game on May 30 and can be obtained through the completion of various Featured Program missions.
For fans of Conquest Map, the next edition of the enjoyable mode is now available for players to jump into and grab some excellent rewards. Following the Mother's Day Conquest Map released earlier in May, the Ringing Bell Conquest Map features an elaborate portrayal of a bell with six teams featured. Players will need to take down the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Philadelphia Phillies. Completing the map and taking down all teams involved will earn players a total of 30,000 EXP. The Conquest Map will be available at noon Pacific time on May 20.
