The start to MLB The Show 22's launch has had its ups and downs, but one thing that is hard to complain about is the consistent flow of content provided to its player base. San Diego Studio has been relentless with updates, and the constant flow of things to do in MLB The Show 22 seems endless.

In its third week on the market, MLB The Show 22 announced the Battle Royale 2, a mode that pits players against one another by allowing them to draft their 26-man roster and play to earn rewards. Along with the April Awards released last week, players have ample time and methods to obtain and collect players for their Diamond Dynasty teams.

Battle Royale is a mode that challenges players to compete head-to-head with rosters crafted through a drafting system, allowing for players to select a total of 26 individuals to form a team. The first big announcement for the mode's Flawless Pack series revealed legendary New York Yankee Jason Giambi, a two-timer Silver Slugger and five-time All-Star. For players looking to add some infield depth, Giambi is up there with some of the best first basemen in MLB The Show 22 and will pack a powerful swing each time he steps up to the plate. As a 92-overall Diamond-tiered unit, the All-Star Giambi collectible is one that players will not want to miss.

For players looking to improve their bullpen and become more competitive against opposing hitters, Orel Hershiser is a nice addition to seek out. The three-time All-Star won a World Series in 1988, and his services on the mound earned him the Cy Young Award. He'll be considered one of the better pitchers in MLB The Show 22, and at a 92-overall, he'll pack a variety of pitches that will keep batters guessing. Hall of Fame Legend Ron Santo is the third player to be revealed for the Flawless Pack, and the five-time Golden Glove winner will give any team's third-base position some much-needed depth.

In a teaser released on Twitter, MLB The Show 22 appears to be releasing a new uniform series that features space-inspired logo alternatives for each team. The announcement teased "astronomical news" and, with the hashtag Space City thrown in at the end of the tweet, it's no mystery what the next Program challenge will be in MLB The Show 22's Diamond Dynasty mode. Players can be sure to find new daily rewards when they log in, providing them with simple challenges to take on and complete for a bundle of experience and stubs.

MLB The Show 22 is available on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
