Puppet pals Fernando Tatis Jr. and Coach are back in another features trailer for MLB The Show 21. The official PlayStation YouTube channel has been steadily rolling out these trailers for about a month now, covering things like the Jackie Robinson Collector's Editions and the March to October game mode for MLB The Show 21. In today's trailer, Fernando and Coach give some insight into a new feature in the MLB The Show series, Stadium Creator.

Among other requested features like a deeper Road To The Show experience and more offline capabilities for Diamond Dynasty mode, custom stadium creation has been pretty high on the fan wish list for MLB The Show 21. Creating a stadium not only allows players to play baseball in a place that is completely their own, but also gives them the opportunity to make crazy, unrealistic ballparks and just have fun. Fans can get a little glimpse of the stadium creation mechanics in this latest trailer, and from the looks of them, there's not much that can't be created.

Fans got a little bit of a sneak peak at Stadium Creator in the last trailer highlighting next-gen exclusive features in MLB The Show 21, but this trailer goes further in-depth. Stadium Creator has over 1,000 unique ballpark features and stadium pieces that will allow players to design their stadiums however they want. Stadium walls, foul poles, and other structures can be manipulated to make realistic baseball fields or weird layouts that would never be possible outside a simulated build.

Stadium pieces will be divided into kits with different themes. There are of course kits with modern baseball stadium architecture, but there are also fantasy-themed kits that could include the giant floating spaceships from the trailer. No matter which kits players choose, they will be able to play baseball in their stadiums in Diamond Dynasty mode and Franchise mode. On top of that, players who choose to play online can share their stadium with others and play in stadiums that friends have created.

MLB The Show 21 is shaping up to be quite the release for baseball game fans. With all of its new features, the game would probably have been a big release on PlayStation consoles alone. But now that MLB The Show 21 will be on Xbox consoles too, new gamers will be able to join in on the experience that might not have been able to before. MLB The Show 21's cross-play and cross-progression capabilities set it apart from several other sports games on the market and make the experience of playing a baseball game more shareable than before.

MLB The Show 21 will release April 20 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
