The highly anticipated release of MLB The Show 21 is less than a month away. Because MLB The Show is finally coming to Xbox, the wait may feel as if it has been a very long time for some fans. However, for some of the MLB legends who are now joining the roster of MLB The Show 21, according to the newest trailer that just dropped, the wait was even longer.

The newest trailer for MLB The Show 21 starts off by showcasing some of the game's greatest players of today: Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper, Mookie Betts, and so on and so forth. But then the trailer quickly shifts to show some legends from a different era, legends of the MLB past.

Whether it be Babe Ruth or Tony Gwynn, Chipper Jones or David Ortiz, Mike Schmidt or Jackie Robinson, some of the all-time greats are in the trailer, and therefore in MLB the Show 21 as well. Some legendary and fantastic pitchers are in MLB the Show 21 as well, including Greg Maddux, Trevor Hoffman, or Fernando Valenzuela.

MLB The Show 21 is an exciting game for many baseball fans. But the sport itself has such rich history that it is truly exciting to see someone like Ken Griffey Jr. rip off 400 plus feet shots over the head of the outfielder in the right field. For Xbox fans especially, it is exciting to finally be able to jump into the fun, as they have been waiting for a true baseball simulator on the platform for a very long time.

MLB The Show 21 is releasing on April 20 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
