If you were waiting for the MLB 10: The Show demo before the game's release date, you're out of luck. The last two year's demos for The Show have come out two to three weeks prior to the release date but this year, the demo won't come out till at least two days after the game hits retail shelves.

"I am not sure what purpose would be served by misleading you. We said there will be a demo....and there will be a demo. The simple fact is....The demo HAS been completed....the demo HAS been submitted for approval and posting. We, as devs of the game, have absolutely ZERO control as to when it gets approved or posted."

The demo will most likely come out on Thursday, March 4th, two days after the retail release of the game. If you've been waiting for the MLB 2K10 demo on PS3, there is a small conspiracy theory going around the internet that Sony is holding up the release of the 2K demo until the MLB 10: The Show demo is released.

Both MLB 2K10 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, DS and PSP) and MLB 10: The Show (PS3, PS2 and PSP) are releasing on March 2nd 2010. The MLB 2K10 demo is out now for Xbox 360 Owners. Don't forget to pre-order MLB 10 for the Classic Stadium bonus pack.

We'll just have to sit back and wait for these demos on the PS3. If it is reveled that Sony is holding up the MLB 2K10 demo until the release of the MLB 10: The Show demo, there could be a backlash against Sony.

Will you think less of Sony if this is the case?  Which game are you going to get? Let us know in the comments.
