Players will also "unveil Minecraft's past" with the archeology feature and its pottery artifacts.

Minecraft's flora will also see new features with the arrival of the Trails and Tales update. The game will add Torchflower seeds and Pitcher plants, which are ancient plants the Sniffer can find. Minecraft will also be getting a new biome to expand its world, adding the beauty of cherry blossoms to the game. With the introduction of the new biome, players will be able to produce wood from the cherry blossom trees and use it in their buildings, weapons, and tools. For the more adventurous players, Minecraft will also be getting new armor trims.

The confirmation of the Trails and Tales update release date was much celebrated by Minecraft players.
