Just a few days ago, Minecraft developer Mojang added the Toy Story Mash-Up pack to the popular sandbox title, allowing players to take the roles of characters from the renowned animated film series. In light of the fact that some were experiencing crashing while exploring the Toy Story Mash-Up content update, version 1.94 has been released to address this issue.

Although the Toy Story Mash-Up update itself came with a set of bug fixes, it also caused a crashing issue for players exploring the Toy Story world. A forum containing a changelist displaying the updates applied to Minecraft and fixes associated with them gave some patch notes for update 1.94 for the PS4 version of the game. The forum lists the update does as follows:

  • Fix for possible crash while exploring the Toy Story world.

After downloading the update, those who were previously experiencing issues following the Toy Story Mash-Up update should be able to explore the locations of Toy Story with as few technical problems as possible.

One very admirable trait of developer Mojang is that it tends to tackle issues in a very timely manner. As Minecraft is one of the most commercially successful video games of all-time, it makes sense for the developers to act quickly with regards to bugs and glitches that pop up for the game's millions of players. Now those players can live out their childhood Toy Story fantasies by traversing the larger-than-life locations of Pixar's influential animated franchise without having to worry about the game crashing.

In tandem with the recent release of Toy Story 4, Mojang's Toy Story Mash-Up in Minecraft gives players the ability to play as beloved characters from the series like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, and others. So as to foster the most authentic Toy Story experience, multiple locations from the films like Andy's Room and Al's Toy Barn were also added for players to thoroughly explore every nook and cranny.

Minecraft is currently available on most platforms.
