There are many dedicated fans who devote a lot of time and effort to build amazing structures in Minecraft and this rendition is extremely well-made. This time, a player managed to recreate the entire 1-1 level of Super Mario Bros., including Mario himself. The replica is extremely detailed which resulted in a massive Minecraft creation.

This is not the first time Super Mario has taken over Minecraft. A couple of months ago, someone released a mod to bring all the worlds and missions from Super Mario Galaxy into Minecraft. Similarly, a fan recreated Super Nintendo World in Minecraft, taking Japan's newest attraction closer to them. At the moment, the inauguration of the theme park had been delayed so the creation was made based on Nintendo's footage which is why the replica only includes some of the spots of Super Nintendo World.

Even though all of those creations are undeniably amazing, what makes this Super Mario Bros. recreation so exceptional is the fact that it was done by only one person. In order to make the replica, Reddit user TheBestTomatoKing seems to have used each block in Minecraft as a pixel in creator mode. This can be confirmed in the video when the creator comes closer to the structure revealing how some of the figures look from up close. Furthermore, it is evident that the replica is huge since the creator is showing Super Mario Bros. 1-1 level from afar as can be confirmed by looking at the position in the Minecraft map that is shown in the top-left corner of the screen.

The creator included every single feature of the 1-1 level of Super Mario Bros. including a hidden block with a 1-Up mushroom, a fire flower, and even the 100 point sign that appears whenever Mario steps on an enemy. In the video, the creator can be seen showing how one of the pipes leads to a room as in Super Mario where as one would expect, several coins can be picked up just as it happens in Nintendo's classic game.

Overall, TheBestTomatoKing's post was well-received by the Minecraft subReddit amassing over one thousand upvotes so far and mostly positive comments. The creator even expressed the possibility of recreating the 32 levels of Super Mario Bros. which might seem like an impossibly long task to perform on Minecraft. However, TheBestTomatoKing mentioned in one of the comments that level 1-1 only took a couple of weeks to create, so recreating the other 31 levels might not be such a crazy idea after all.

Minecraft is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
