Over the years, a number of intriguing mobs have been added to the game, such as the Axolotl and Phantom. However, one of the strangest creatures is the instantly recognizable Enderman.
As one of the oldest mobs in Minecraft, the Enderman has grown to have quite a reputation among players. These unusual black creatures with purple eyes have a propensity to teleport and cause trouble in the process. Among their annoying habits, they enjoy stealing blocks from structures that players create in the game. While they can become aggressive if provoked, they have a weakness: water. In addition, players can wear a carved pumpkin to remain unnoticed by the mob. Recently, one fan decided to pay homage to this classic monster seen in Minecraft.
In a post on Reddit, a user known as nayakura8080 shared a collection of pictures from a recent project they had completed in Minecraft. According to the Reddit user, they had decided to create an island that looked like an Enderman. Based on the pictures, the final build did not disappoint as they managed to construct the island to appear as though a giant Enderman was holding a grass block.
Not only did the creator replicate the look of the iconic mob, but they also made the design functional. For example, the long arms of the Enderman were used as pathways that led to the massive grass block it was holding. In addition, they filled the island with lush foliage, giving it a more natural look. They even added a waterfall at the back of the grass block. Beyond showcasing the build, the creator provided a download link on Reddit for those that wanted to check out the island.
Since posting this impressive Enderman island on Reddit, numerous members of the Minecraft community have weighed in with their opinions. With over 14,800 upvotes in less than a day, many were impressed with the design. In addition, some users thought that the island was reminiscent of the Bionis from the Xenoblade series. “Mad Xenoblade vibes! I love it!” a Redditor known as Uminagi said.
It is often exciting to see passionate fans of Minecraft come up with creative designs based on the game. Besides this island, another gamer recently took seven months to remake Springfield from The Simpsons, complete with houses, roads, and many landmarks from the series. As players continue to play Minecraft, it will be interesting to see what other builds are shared with the community in the coming days. If this Enderman-inspired island is anything to go off of, they are likely to be impressive.
