A Minecraft player has done an impressive job of creating Onigashima from One Piece in-game. Minecraft has a large and dedicated community of players. And Minecraft is a success thanks in large part to the creativity factor.

Minecraft players can explore a sandbox universe and make their adventure by creating tools, gathering resources, and exploring biomes such as forests, deserts, and caves. In Minecraft, it is also possible to face enemies such as skeletons, spiders, and the famous (and equally dreaded) Creeper. Another gameplay possibility in Minecraft is to unleash the creativity to build impressively large and highly detailed structures, including famous areas such as that of the popular manga One Piece.

Redditor Heraza has posted on the official Minecraft subreddit images showing Onigashima created within the game. In One Piece, Onigashima is a region of Wano Country, which became an island after the country was flooded. In Minecraft, Heraza reveals that it took six days to make the entire construction, which was initially played in creative mode and then on the server. The player says they used the One Piece manga as a reference for the multiple angles of the Skull Dome, the main landmark of Onigashima and where is the castle of Emperor Kaidou. It is not uncommon for Minecraft players to recreate famous Japanese works of art within the game, such as the player who went back in time and reproduced the Goldenrod City from the Pokemon games.

To bring the impressive creation to life, Heraza also used the Minecraft mod known as World Edit. This mod speeds up the process of creating, replacing, or deleting hundreds of Minecraft blocks in seconds, allowing the player to make buildings in less time. World Edit gives Minecraft players complete control, with features such as generating biomes made of forests and snowy areas. The mod also allows Minecraft players to quickly teleport to areas using the compass, restore an area from backups, and more. Minecraft's large amount of mods is one of the factors that makes the title one of the best base-building games.

The creation of Heraza is just one in a large universe of ideas that show the creativity of the Minecraft community. Some players bring games into Minecraft that might not be expected, such as creating the city of Yharnam from Bloodborne. Other players go even further to the point of creating a photorealistic battleship, something that would only be seen in games like World of Warships. Minecraft's popularity has expanded even outside the sandbox world, with titles like Minecraft: Story Mode, Minecraft Dungeons, and the upcoming Minecraft Legends all carrying a different premise while maintaining the characters and visuals that won fans over.

Minecraft is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and legacy platforms.
