In order for players to make any of those recipes, however, they will first need to be able to churn out some glass. This requires several things: sand or red sand, fuel, and a furnace or a Minecraft blast furnace. Cooking the sand or red sand in either of the furnaces will get players the very basic glass. However, there are also a whole bunch of different recipes to make all sorts of kinds of glass, including different colors.
