Minecraft Legends follows an adventurer on their quest to rid the once-peaceful Overworld of the monstrous Piglins plaguing it. Once the game's opening tutorial ends, players are permitted to explore the vast land they find themselves in and defeat the Piglins laying siege to the villages spread throughout.

After arriving in the Overworld in Minecraft Legends, players will need to defend a village from a hoard of Piglins. Once the battle has been won, the protagonist will then need to destroy three Piglin Outposts, dangerous strongholds that appeared shortly after the Piglins came to the Overworld. Destroying these outposts can take some serious work, however, especially for players only familiarizing themselves with the gameplay.

How To Destroy The Blaze Rod Tower Outpost In Minecraft Legends

The Blaze Tower Outpost in Minecraft Legends

It doesn't matter what order each Piglin Outpost is destroyed, so long as the player destroys all of them. The Blaze Rod Tower southeast of the Well of Fate, however, is a great place to start, as it is arguably the easiest outpost to take down. Upon arriving, the protagonist will be faced with two tall towers known as Blaze Towers and a Piglin Pit, each of which is protected by a group of Piglins. Piglin Pits continuously spawn Piglins, so if players are feeling overwhelmed, they should prioritize destroying them before approaching the Blaze Towers.

To destroy this outpost, the player will need to make use of the Cobblestone Golems to destroy each structure and the Plank Goblins to deal with any attacking Piglins. Though both Golems can be commanded to attack the same target, Cobblestone Golems are best suited for close-range attacks, and Plank Golems are best used to attack from a distance.

Before beginning the battle, the player should summon an even mix of both Golem-types, but there's no harm in bringing some extra Cobblestone Golems, as they can be extremely helpful in bringing the towers down quickly.

Destroying this outpost requires the player to command their Golems to attack each tower. To do this, the player should face their character toward the tower they wish to destroy and then prompt their summoned Golems to attack. If a blue flag appears next to the tower, the Golems will proceed forward and begin attacking the tower.

It may not appear obvious at first, but each hit the Golems deliver to the tower is damaging it. If players monitor the tower while their Golems are attacking, they will notice the bricks in the structure beginning to crumble. This means the tower is taking damage. Once the first tower falls, the player should turn their attention to the next and final one.

After the Blaze Rod Tower Outpost has been destroyed, players can feel free to visit either of the remaining two Piglin Outposts, but the Nether Spreader Outpost is probably the easiest to deal with. Upon arriving at this outpost, the player will notice a series of towers, some of which move up and down. These devices are called Nether Spreaders and can deal some serious damage if the protagonist happens to be standing too close.

When a Nether Spreader crashes into the ground, the surrounding area will be engulfed in red smoke. This smoke can inflict some pretty significant damage to the protagonist and any Golems standing nearby, so it's best to avoid them if possible in most situations. That said, destroying the Nether Spreader Outpost requires the player to destroy the two Nether Spreaders there, as well as the Piglin Pits at the center.

Piglin Pits in Minecraft Legends

Like with the previous Outpost, the Piglin Pits will continuously spawn Piglins to attack the protagonist, so players should focus on taking them out first.

Since Nether Spreaders can deal some pretty harsh damage, the protagonist should stay out of their way and let their Golems do the heavy lifting. Like with the towers in the Blaze Rod Tower Outpost, these structures will change in appearance the more they receive damage, making it slightly easier to predict when they will collapse.

How To Destroy The Gated Outpost In Minecraft Legends

The Gated Outpost is arguably the most difficult outpost to take down, as not only is it fortified by a river of lava, but it's also heavily barricaded. It may seem a little daunting at first, but getting inside is actually quite easy, thanks to the Allays. With their help, the protagonist can use the Ramp Player Building Melody to create a bridge over the lava river.

If the player starts to feel overwhelmed while infiltrating this outpost, they can easily escape via the bridge they made, so long as the Piglins don't destroy it. If this happens, another bridge can be made to escape, but only if players have acquired the resources needed to build one.

To get through the gate blocking the way inside the Gated Outpost, the player should command their Golems to attack the gate itself. Simply facing the gate and issuing the command is enough to prompt the Golems into action, so all players need to do is focus on defeating any nearby Piglins while their Golems get to work.

After it receives enough damage, the gate will crumble, allowing the player to venture inside the Gated Outpost. There, two Piglin Pits must be destroyed in order to destroy the entire outpost. The prompt on the right-hand side of the screen will suggest that all the gates need to be destroyed too, but simply destroying the two Piglin Pits is enough to bring the outpost down.

To destroy these pits, the player can split their Golem party in half and command both groups to attack each pit independently. So long as the player makes sure to defeat the Piglins that spawn while the Golems attack the pits, the outpost will collapse.

Minecraft Legends is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
