One creative gamer found a unique way to give their in-game home some extra visual appeal in Mojang Studios’ Minecraft, creating their digital abode inside a massive eye. The unique player-made houses in Minecraft are a frequent source of incredible build photos, but this comfy, cornea-covered cabin is one of the most creative yet.

The best-selling video game of all time and an undisputable cultural phenomenon, Mojang Studios’ Minecraft is one of the biggest names in gaming. Beginning life as an indie title that proudly wore its Dwarf Fortress and LEGO inspirations on its sleeve, Minecraft became a hit with players of all ages thanks to its freeform gameplay and the seemingly endless creative possibilities offered by its simple-yet-powerful building system. A steady stream of patches and major updates to Minecraft over the years have added new features and gameplay mechanics to the sandbox title, ensuring that gamers will always have something new to do or discover in the game’s blocky world.

A series of stunning screenshots posted on the r/Minecraft subreddit display one of the most unique locations yet for an in-game house, with Reddit user BenityMc’s comfy-looking cabin nestled inside a massive eyeball. The incredible screenshots initially obscure the true scale of the unique creation, with the first image appearing to only show an impressively-sculpted recreation of a person’s eye and brow ridge. It isn’t until viewing the subsequent screenshots that gamers are able to get an eyeful of the true scale of the creation. While many players are used to gathering the eyes of the spiders in Minecraft to aid in their crafting, most gamers would never think to actually live inside an eye in-game.

Redditors responding to the post were impressed with the player's build, with multiple commenters complimenting BenityMc on the impressive level of detail in the Minecraft construction. Redditors seemed to be particularly wowed by some of the small touches on display in the piece, such as the use of white blocks to give the eye a realistic glimmer. Others responding to the post seemed more excited by the prospect of posting some pupil-related puns, with one popular comment cheekily noting that “The view must be amazing.” Another user found themselves simultaneously awed and terrified by the creation, stating that it “looks like something I’d see in a really good horror game.”

Although there has certainly been no shortage of screenshots of incredible player-made houses shared by Minecraft players over the years, this wildly unique creation is truly a sight to behold. Whether building a safe space inside a massive, all-seeing eye will be enough to keep players from being attacked by an enderman remains to be seen, though.

Minecraft is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
