Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson is one of the most popular YouTubers right now. MrBeast is well known for his videos featuring a group of friends partaking in ridiculous challenges that often involve large amounts of money and other prizes. Some of the challenges MrBeast has hosted include a influencer trivia game with a $300,000 prize, and a massive hide-and-seek game in an abandoned city. MrBeast's latest challenge tasked 100 players to create the most impressive farm in Minecraft for $50,000.

MrBeast has amassed over 46 million subscribers on YouTube as of this writing, and MrBeast recently launched another channel dedicated to gaming which already has 10.5 million subscribers. The Minecraft farm challenge contestants were given one hour to complete their farms in creative mode, which allows players to spawn limitless amounts of any item. After the challenge, three judges including MrBeast gave the farms a rating out of ten. While judging the farms, it was apparent that many of the contestants pushed the limits of what defines a farm. Some of the notable entries included a giant replica of Dr. Phil, a McDonald's, and a farm inspired by MrBeast's charity Team Trees.

The winner of the event was Crusty435, who created an impressive farm featuring a windmill, a stable, and a crop duster above its field. The 17-year-old Minecraft player was stunned, and reacted to winning by shouting, "I need to tell my dad." MrBeast was able to provide the lucky player with a ton of money, and the video already has over five million views as of this writing.

It's not often that someone can say they won money for their Minecraft creations, but this could happen more frequently with MrBeast putting out challenges on his gaming channel. MrBeast continues to show how entertaining, unique challenges in video games can be, having recently held a Fall Guys challenge with his friends that had a $20,000 prize going to someone in need.

The YouTuber is notably philanthropic, giving away huge amounts of money to the Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children's Hospital, as well as homeless and animal shelters around Los Angeles. MrBeast is not only entertaining millions of followers, but doing important charitable work at the same time. His philanthropic efforts even landed him as a nominee for the 2020 Streamy Awards in the category of "Social Good: Creator."

Minecraft is available now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
