It is probably an understatement to say that Minecraft has come a long way since it was first introduced to the public back in 2009. Over the past decade, the game has had numerous updates that have added much more life to its massive procedurally generated worlds. Among the new content, several mobs have been introduced, such as the peaceful Axolotl and the hostile Ravager. Recently, one passionate fan decided to make a unique piece of artwork that brought many of these mobs together in one place.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as Pnut_B shared a painting that they had recently made based on Minecraft. While artwork from the game is often shown on Reddit, this picture stood out because the artist had included every hostile mob discoverable in the world. Set on a wide-open plain, they used the empty area to include numerous dangerous creatures. From the common Zombie and Creeper to the legendary Ender Dragon and Wither, the number of included characters was impressive. The picture even featured Steve standing in the center with a sword.

Beyond showing off this Minecraft artwork, Pnut_B disclosed several details about making the painting. According to the Reddit user, they made the preliminary sketches of the hostile mobs with a pencil and then filled in the picture using dark watercolors. Interestingly, the artist pointed out that they chose to put Steve in the middle of the image in order to have all the hostile mobs attacking him. When the painting was finally completed, it had taken approximately 100 hours of work from the artist.

This stunning painting featuring hostile mobs from Minecraft piqued the interest of numerous members of the community on Reddit. With over 6,200 upvotes in only a few days, many were impressed with the accuracy of the picture. Others liked that the artist decided to add a giant Nether Portal to the design. While some wondered where the Enderman was in the painting, the artist explained that it had been omitted as it was technically a neutral mob.

Remarkably, this is just one of many unique creations designed by talented gamers in recent days. For example, another fan decided to pay homage to Boba Fett’s ship from Star Wars by recreating it in a Minecraft world. It will be interesting to see what other creations are shared with the community in the near future. Perhaps Pnut_B will choose to make another painting, this time of all the passive mobs found in the game, such as the rare Mooshroom.

Minecraft is available now on mobile devices, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
