Minecraft players are always making incredible builds and finding ways to add even more detail to the survival game's various biomes. Now, one dedicated Minecraft player has created a great new look for the game's End Cities.

The End in Minecraft is home to one of Minecraft's biggest bosses, the End Dragon. It can only be reached by players who track down a hidden portal who can then fight the End Dragon to take get its egg. As the game is now there are End Cities scattered throughout the dimension, and it houses some mobs and items completely unique to it, like shulks.

But Reddit user LucyStarshine wanted to see if they could improve on the design of the end cities themselves. LucyStarshine showed off their work through a post to the game's subreddit, and it has gotten a lot of positive reactions from the community. The design is pretty impressive and is an End City with a lot more detail and area for players to explore than the regular ones in the game. The design includes a large spire at the center of a floating island, coral-like trees, and a blimp that all feel right at home in Minecraft's End dimension.

Comments on the post are universally positive, with many community members saying they wish the design could be the standard in Minecraft. It is not completely unheard of for fan creations to be officially added into Minecraft, so it is possible that Mojang will want to adopt LucyStarshine's design into the official game. The comments in particular point out how diverse the build is despite its limited block palette as well as the grand scale of the build. Commenters also point out their love for the inventive lighting throughout the build that helps it maintain the End's atmosphere.

It is really cool to see a fan interpretation of a more detailed and large End City, and LucyStarshine's build looks as though it took a lot of time to complete. Minecraft does frequently release overhauls for its various biomes to add more detail, variation, and mobs to the game's world. With how well-received LucyStarshine's design is it would be great to see the End get a facelift after Minecraft is done with its hotly anticipated Cliffs and Caves update. Maybe, Mojang could even bring LucyStarshine on to do a bit of design work for the update as well for all of their hard work.

Minecraft is available now on Mobile, PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One, and various other platforms.
