Minecraft Dungeons receives its first post-launch DLC today, just over a month since its May 26 launch. Jungle Awakens unlocks today on both PC and Xbox One. The premium expansion introduces a whole range of new content for the ARPG. To showcase this new Minecraft Dungeons content, and persuade a few players to buy the DLC, too, Mojang's put together a new trailer.

The Minecraft Dungeons Jungle Awakens DLC features new playable mission stages, new enemies to battle, and new game mechanics to uncover for the first time. It also features a new story chapter in which a shard of the Orb of Dominance has led to a new horde of monsters and villains rising out of the jungle.

Alongside the launch of Jungle Awakens, free of charge, is a new Minecraft Dungeons update. The update includes a free map for the Lower Temple, a new threat level per difficulty for added endgame challenge, new Battlestaff and Dual Crossbows gear, as well as a sweeping balance update. Even for those who don't buy the DLC, there's a lot of fun new Minecraft Dungeons content to pick up.

The Jungle Awakens DLC can be purchased via Minecraft Dungeons' $9.99 Hero Pass, or bundled with the base game in a $29.99 Hero Edition. Minecraft Dungeons is also available via Xbox Game Pass on PC and Xbox One, but the new DLC is not included. Game Pass subscribers will need to buy the Hero Pass to get the new content. The Hero Pass will also include a second DLC, Creeping Winter, to be released later this year.

Minecraft Dungeons is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
