Minecraft Dungeons has just released its second DLC pack, entitled Creeping Winter, bringing along a ton of new content for players to enjoy. This is the final pack included in the game's first season pass, though it is said that Mojang Studios has plans for future Minecraft Dungeons updates beyond these first two.

The story of this Minecraft Dungeons DLC expansion revolves around a spreading winter that threatens to take over the world. Players will need to hunt down the Wretched Wraith, the source of the titular Creeping Winter in order to end it. More likely than not, this creature is empowered by a fragment of the Orb of Dominance, and will require players to get stronger in order to face it.

Those with the DLC will have access to three new levels, two new skins, an Arctic Fox pet, and new equipment, but a free update also dropped alongside it. Version 1.4 adds daily trials to Minecraft Dungeons, where players can earn exclusive gear. During missions, players can rescue new merchants that will then return to camp, and six new enchantments have been added for all to use as well.

Beyond this, there were also some minor bug fixes, quality of life changes, and a few balancing adjustments made. For example, new trophies have been added to accommodate the two new Minecraft Dungeons DLC packs, and players can now toggle their game to private to avoid unwanted guests joining. The Shortbow, Longbow, Bow, Cutlass, Pickaxe, and Daggers all received some minor buffs, and players will always respawn with at least one quiver of arrows.

Minecraft Dungeons Creeping Winter DLC is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
