Millie Bobby Brown is all set to return as a young detective in Enola Holmes 2, with the upcoming movie wrapping filming today. Netflix revealed the news of the project completing principal photography by sharing a touching behind-the-scenes video of Brown celebrating on set with her co-star Louis Partridge.

The news of the sequel to the 2020 film Enola Holmes wrapping was shared on the official Netflix Twitter account, with the caption reading, “The sequel to Enola Holmes has officially finished filming!” But, that’s not all. The streaming giant invited fans to investigate the clip for their “first clue to Enola's next great adventure.”

In the video, somebody is heard saying, “That is a picture wrap on Louis.” Several people on set then start cheering to mark the end of a shoot day. Partridge is seen hugging director Harry Bradbeer, before he hugs Brown and then breaks into a ballroom dance with her, which compliments their period costumes. The on-screen chemistry between their characters in Enola Holmes was great, and it was heartening to see the two actors enjoying themselves on the set.

Enola Holmes saw Brown bring to life the character of the famous Sherlock Holmes' younger sister. An adaptation of the young adult novels by Nancy Springer, the first film had Enola investigating her mother Eudoria's disappearance. In her attempt to find her mother, portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter, she meets Partridge's Viscount Tewkesbury, a young lord on the run. Meanwhile, her brothers Sherlock and Mycroft, portrayed by Henry Cavill and Sam Claflin respectively, look for her.

With Brown's Enola as the protagonist, she was the star of the first film. Most of the movie followed her journey as she tried to discover the truth about her mother, and help solve Tewkesbury's case. The two characters share a fun dynamic, and the film used direct-to-camera narration by the protagonist.

The sequel to Enola Holmes will see most of the cast return, including Cavill as Sherlock. It remains to be seen how prominent his role will be this time around. A few new cast members will also be joining the roster, including Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Hannah Dodd, Abbie Hern, Gabriel Tierney, and David Thewlis. With Enola Holmes receiving great reviews from both viewers and critics, the expectations for the sequel are much higher.

Enola Holmes 2 will stream on Netflix in 2022.
