In a mix of both disdain and morbid curiosity, I have the charge of informing you that Miley Cyrus, and not her weird alter-ego Hannah Montana is coming to Rock Band on June 22. No doubt many of you secret Cyrus fans are foaming at the mouth to be playing the teen pop-star's songs and rest assured, you will be able to in no time at all.

The release of the songs will coincide with her latest album's release and Miley sure is excited about it:

"I'm excited fans will be able to download and play five of my songs in Rock Band. I love that people can rock out with me and play my new song ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ on the same day my album comes out!”

All tracks will be available on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii versions of any Rock Band game. And without further ado, the totally rocking songs you will be able to play:

  • "7 Things"
  • "Can't Be Tamed"
  • "Fly On the Wall"
  • "See You Again"
  • "Start All Over"

The song "Can't Be Tamed" will be a song off of her latest album, aptly titled "Can't Be Tamed".

All songs will be priced at 160 MS/$1.99/200 Wii per individual song and releasing June 22.

Before everyone starts going all foaming-at-the-mouth crazy over the inclusion of Miley Cyrus alongside artists like Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and Jefferson Airplane, let's remember that this isn't the first "kids oriented" set of songs to come to Rock Band, what with the Spongebob Squarepants and iCarly stuff. Who knows, though, someone out there will get it, play it with their friends, and it could lead to the most amazing night of their lives. Or it might not.
