Blade is one of the best characters in Midnight Suns, with some of the game's best cards. Other than being a great book club host, Blade is an excellent offensive hero with cards that focus on dishing out the Bleed affliction while also dealing massive damage over time. With plenty of cards available, Blade is one of the best heroes to bring along on quests.

10 Quick Strike

Quick Strike is one of several cards that the player will already have obtained after unlocking Blade to use in missions. Quick Strike is a great card to utilize in combat, especially against one-shot minions. Quick Strike is an Attack card of the common rarity.

This card will do 50% offensive damage, and also has the Quick ability. This means that if the player knocks out an enemy with Quick Strike, the player will be refunded a card play. This card also provides the player with 1 Heroism, which is good for Blade as he consumes a lot.

9 Make 'em Bleed

Make 'em Bleed is a common card and one that players will have already acquired after unlocking Blade. This card is almost necessary for Blade as he is close to reliant on afflicting enemies with the Bleed status. This card will also provide the player with 2 Heroism.

Make 'em Bleed will allow the player to draw one of Blade's cards, and will then allow Blade to afflict 2 Bleed with his next two cards. With strategic use, this card can be a huge help in combating multiple strong enemies.

8 Strike

Strike capitalizes on Blade hitting multiple enemies at once. Strike is an Attack card of the common rarity, and will also provide players with 1 Heroism upon being used. When Strike is played, Blade will be able to Chain his attack with two enemies, though, when upgraded, Strike will Chain to three enemies.

Strike does 50% offensive damage, meaning with Strike +, that is 150% offensive damage split between three different enemies. This move is great when used in strategic sync with Make 'em Bleed to provide Bleed to multiple targets.

7 Relentless

Out of all of the Attack cards that Blade is able to use, Relentless is one of the best. Relentless is a rare Attack card and will provide the player with 1 Heroism when it is played.

Initially, Relentless does 100% offensive damage to an enemy, but if that enemy has already been damaged in the same turn, then Relentless will do 150% offensive damage instead. This card can be used in combination with other heroes to take down a larger enemy much more swiftly.

6 Savage

Debatably, Blade's Heroic cards are his best cards for players to make use of, making Blade a focal point for players to consume Heroism with. Savage is evidence of that fact. Savage is a rare Heroic card that will cost players 2 Heroism to play.

Savage already does 150% offensive damage, but if the enemy that Blade is targeting has any Block on it, then Blade will deal 200% more damage with Savage. For enemies that protect a mission goal with Block, Blade can easily take them out in one swift turn.

5 Reaper

Reaper is another one of Blade's Attack cards and is a focus for strict-damage builds involving Blade. Reaper is an Attack card of the epic rarity that will provide players with 1 Heroism upon being played.

This card will deal 50% offensive damage against one opponent, but if that target has Bleed, Blade will consume all the Bleed on that opponent and deal that damage to them with Reaper. Since Bleed is one of the main aspects of playing Blade, Reaper is a must-have in Blade's deck to take out enemies quickly.

4 Stake

Stake is yet another one of the cards that players will have already obtained after unlocking Blade. Stake is a Heroic card of the common rarity that will cost players 3 Heroism in order to be played. This card does an incredible 200% offensive damage, and Stake also has the Lifesteal ability.

This means that whatever damage Blade does to an enemy with Stake, he will be healed equal to that amount. When upgraded, the card will only cost 2 Heroism and deal 225% offensive damage.

3 The Hunger

The Hunger is probably Blade's best Skill card, and arguably one of the best Skill cards in Midnight Suns. Like many cards that Blade has in his collection, The Hunger is reliant on enemies with the Bleed affliction. The Hunger is a rare Skill card and will provide players with 2 Heroism upon being played.

The Hunger will allow Blade to apply 2 Marked on every enemy that has the Bleed affliction. This means that if the player is able to knock out a Marked enemy, they will have their card play refunded.

2 Daywalker

Daywalker is essentially a much better version of Strike, as it focuses on Chain to attack various enemies with one card. Daywalker is a Heroic card of the epic rarity and will cost players 3 Heroism to play.

Daywalker will deal offensive damage to whichever enemies Blade targets, and, initially, Blade will be able to Chain 4 enemies. When this card is upgraded, the card will allow the player to draw a card for every enemy that Blade is able to knock out. Just like Strike, this card pairs well with Make 'em Bleed to apply Bleed to multiple targets.

1 Glaive

In order for the player to make use of special Midnight Suns abilities, the player must first reach the maximum friendship level with the character that they wish to unlock the Midnight Suns ability for. In Blade's case, Glaive is his Midnight Suns ability that's only unlocked by completing his Midnight Suns challenge at the Forge.

Glaive is an amazing Heroic card of the legendary rarity. Glaive will cost players 4 Heroism to play but is well worth it. Glaive does offensive damage to multiple enemies in an area, and will also apply 2 Bleed to those enemies.

Marvel's Midnight Suns is available on PlayStation 4,5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
