Rahul Kohli has discussed the possibility of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which continues to grow each and every day. The MCU is continuously casting for many new heroes and villains, so there's always a spot open for someone to join, but Kohli jokingly suggested a certain X-Men role for himself.

Kohli is known for playing characters such as Scarecrow in the Harley Quinn animated series and for having co-starring roles in shows such as Netflix's Midnight Mass, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Supergirl. Kohli is known for bringing depth to his characters, so it's no wonder the actor was asked if he would ever join Disney's ever-growing family of Marvel Studios superheroes, possibly as an X-Men character.

Kohli has previously commented on joining the MCU, but he has now gone on to admit that "you're an idiot not to" when talking about wanting to join the MCU. The actor also admitted that it would only be beneficial if he were to join when/where it makes sense. Of course, he isn't desperate to join for the sake of joining, nor is he desperate to just have a line in a Marvel project either. The Midnight Mass star is aware that, "once you do one... you're in." Kohli discussed his desire to join the MCU during an interview with Evan Romano for Men's Health Magazine, though this portion of the conversation was cut from the final story.

In a Twitter post featuring an excerpt of the conversation, Romano pitched Kohli for a role as one of the X-Men characters in MCU. There are a plethora of potential characters that he can play, so it's just a matter of going through the casting process to see where the actor would fit best. However, Kohli jokingly (presumably) revealed that he wants to play Emma Frost, the shapeshifting telepath who was portrayed by January Jones in Fox's X-Men films.

X-Men will be a feat of its own because there are a vast number of characters to cast, write, and give screentime to. The film will also want to have stakes, so it'll be hard to figure out who gets to stick around and who gets killed. Regardless of how they decide to tackle it, many should expect Disney and Marvel Studios to breathe new life into the X-Men, as they do with their other properties.

Continuity is a big thing in the world of Marvel, so it's not uncommon to see actors become exclusively restricted to doing Marvel Studios films when they sign on for multiple films, get cast in crossover projects, and make reappearances in flashbacks or even post-credit scenes. It causes the talent to become very busy, so it would make sense for an actor to take their time when they consider joining the MCU.
