With E3 2017 in full swing, Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive are keen on promoting the forthcoming action-adventure game Middle-earth: Shadow of War as much as possible, as the companies unveiled gameplay from a mission during Microsoft's showcase for the event just recently. Now, the developer and publisher decided to show off a brand new trailer for the title during PC Gamer's E3 2017 press conference, with cinematics being the focus this time around.

As seen below in the trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of War, players are introduced to Altariel, an Elven assassin character who likens herself to the identity of "the Blade of Galadriel," as she discusses the fight against Sauron with the game's protagonist Talion. Although there seems to be some strategic differences among the warriors, they ultimately decide to forge an alliance in order to defeat the Dark Lord.

Those who wish to find out where the scene above is heading still have to wait quite a while before they can get their hands on the title, as Middle-earth: Shadow of War is slated to release this fall. As a matter of fact, it ran into some slight production troubles, but the problems thankfully only resulted in a short delay, with the game being pushed back from its original release date in August to October.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War fans hungry for more plot points don't have to go without, though, as Monolith and Warner Bros. Interactive has previously published a story trailer highlighting Talion and Celebrimbor as they work together to grown an army capable of taking on the "deadliest enemies" the game will have to offer. With any luck, not only will the campaign's storyline build upon and exceed Shadow of Mordor's tale, but also the gameplay will hopefully be an even more refined experience as well.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is slated to release on October 10, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
