While it has already been confirmed that Troy Baker will return in the role of Talion, the main playable character in the forthcoming action-adventure title, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, there are surely plenty of fans out there wondering exactly who will be rounding out the rest of the cast. As it so happens, developer Monolith Productions and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive have now officially unveiled some of the other major players that have been hired as actors for the game.

According to the talent revealed thus far, Baker won't be the only thespian reprising their role from the original title, as Alastair Duncan (Westworld) is once more set to take on the role of Celebrimbor – that is, the powerful Elf lord spirit inhabiting Talion. Joining Baker and Duncan as an important and primary figure in Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be Laura Bailey (Injustice 2, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End), as she's set to play the elite assassin known as Eltariel.

With the main cast taken care of, Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive still have several other characters that need actors, and the companies have hired on both Kumail Nanjiani (Mass Effect: Andromeda, Silicon Valley) and Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead) to fulfill that very purpose. However, it's unclear as to whom Nanjiani or McIntosh will be playing, as neither of the actors' roles have been announced just yet.

In addition to the reveal of the voice and motion capture talents of the aforementioned actors, Monolith Productions and Warner Bros. Interactive have also put forth plans to hold a Middle-earth: Shadow of War panel during San Diego Comic Con 2017 on July 21, at 2:00 PM PT. Every single performer announced thus far will be joining Monolith's creative vice president, Michael de Plater, to discuss the forthcoming game, with the studio set to deliver some "never-before-seen" footage during the panel as well.

Taking all of this into account, it's a safe bet to make that we find out more about the roles each of the actors will play in Middle-earth: Shadow of War during San Diego Comic Con 2017. Plus, since each member of the main cast is going to be in attendance, the footage at the event will likely focus more so on the game's narrative and be shown as a story trailer.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is slated to release on October 10, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
