Earlier this year, Capcom released Devil May Cry 5, which is the latest installment in the mainline Devil May Cry franchise. The game was released to mostly positive reviews, resulting in Capcom's massive increase in profits, thanks to the impressive digital sales of Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 Remake. Now, Microsoft is currently offering massive discounts on select games from the series with its Devil May Cry Franchise Sale, which is available now until next week.

Topping the list of Microsoft's Sale is, of course, Devil May Cry 5. The game's standard edition is currently available on the Microsoft Store for $35.99, while the Deluxe Edition is priced at $41.99, which are both 40% off of their respective list prices. Both editions also come with 100,000 Red Orbs. Last August, the game just got its first post-launch content, but Capcom has since confirmed that Devil May Cry 5 won't be getting any more DLC in the future

Although Devil May Cry 5 was just released earlier this year, fans of the franchise are already speculating on whether or not Capcom already has plans for the next installment. While no official has come from the publisher, Devil May Cry voice actor Reuben Langdon may have hinted something about Devil May Cry 6 during a panel held at the Anime Festival Orlando 2019. During the event, Langdon asked fans to put away their phones since he had an exclusive announcement to show. Ever since then, no one knows what transpired during that portion of the event.

As of the moment, Capcom is still yet to reveal its plans for the mainline Devil May Cry franchise. However, the publisher did say last May that it is interested to see a DmC: Devil May Cry 2 in the future. To those unaware, DmC: Devil May Cry is Capcom's reboot of the Devil May Cry franchise and is separate from the main series.
