The Microsoft Store is the next retailer to wave goodbye to Halloween and October, and wave hello to the holiday season and Black Friday. Today Microsoft released what it's calling a "Sneak Peek" at its Black Friday plans, revealing over 20 different forthcoming discounts and sales. The Microsoft Store Black Friday Sneak Peek focuses on hardware like laptops, Microsoft's Surface tablets, phones, headphones, and more. Those interested in Xbox discounts, however, may have to wait a while yet.

Microsoft's Surface range of products will be a big focus for the Microsoft Store going into Black Friday. It doesn't look like discounts will be available for the new Microsoft Surface Pro 7 or the new Surface Laptop 3, but older surface products should be on sale. The Microsoft Store Sneak Peek shows $500 off on select Surface Book 2 tablets, as well as $150 off select Surface Go tablets. For those shopping for an iPad or Kindle Fire alternative, a $300 Surface Go could be a great choice.

Multiple different HP laptops featuring i3, i5, and i7 Intel CPUs will be discounted as much as $200, with prices starting at $299. Lenovo will be discounting its Legion Y540 Gaming laptop $400 to a price of $789.99. And for gamers looking for peak performance, the Acer Predator Triton 500 gaming laptop will be discounted $300 to a price of $1399.99.

A variety of other items will be discounted for Black Friday at the Microsoft Store. Samsung's 49' QLED ultra-wide monitor will be discounted $300 to a price of $799. Samsung Galaxy phones including the Galaxy S10 and  Note10/10+ will be discounted $200 and will come with a free pair of wireless earbuds. There's even a discount for VR enthusiasts, as the Samsung HMD Odyssey+ will be 50% off for Black Friday. It will retail for $249.

For those looking for Xbox-related sales and discounts, including both games and hardware, you'll have to wait a bit longer. The only Xbox product shown in the Microsoft Store Black Friday Sneak Peek is Xbox One controllers at $20 off, or $39.99.  However, the Sneak Peek does tease more Xbox news coming soon. "More Black Friday offers for Xbox revealed at X019," which is Xbox's end of year event. X019 starts on November 14.

Stay tuned for more Black Friday deals from the Microsoft Store and other retailers in the weeks between now and Black Friday on November 29.
