Everybody loves a good comeback story, even when it's a continuation of something from barely 4 years ago. Since both Marvel and DC seem to be all about tugging those nostalgia strings these days, it seems like they both decided to go all-in on that idea. Between The Flash and Spider-Man: No Way Home, the comic book movie world is in for some pretty powerful throwbacks in the near future, but what about beyond that?

Well, it looks as though one particular actor isn't quite done with being one of the most noteworthy crossover actors between the 2 properties. Michael Keaton, one of Hollywood's most favorite film veterans, may not be done with toeing that line just yet. The long-time actor enjoyed a highly-praised performance as Vulture in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming and is currently set to reprise one of his most famous roles as Batman in 2022's The Flash, and if a recent interview is anything to go by, he's still got some surprises up his sleeve. Unfortunately, there's still no word on whether he'll also return as Lillith's half-brother Blaine in the new Frasier series, but people can dream.

Keaton teased a little something extra during his latest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, tossing in that nugget of info right at the end of his segment. After speaking about his latest experiences in the Marvel and DC movie universes, as well as how little he understands them due to not seeing any comic book movies since 1989's Batman, he ended the interview with an enticing claim, saying "I'm shooting tomorrow." When Kimmel pressed him for details, Keaton casually clarified with "some Vulture stuff." Naturally, the crowd went wild, as likely did anyone watching who loved his everyman take on the classic Marvel villain.

While not necessarily surprising, given Marvel's penchant for never really letting the past die, this is still quite nice to hear. Since the current phase of movies and shows seems to be focused on the multiverse, thanks to the events of Loki, many of the projects in the near future will likely feature returning characters both recent and classic, and that seems to include Keaton's Vulture. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to see him in a cameo as part of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The conversation also moved on to some of Keaton's experience returning as Bruce Wayne/Batman in The Flash, though he admitted his contract meant there wasn't much he could say. Hilariously, much of his anecdote revolved around simply not understanding what was going on due to his relative inexperience with comic book movies. "There's a lot of things I can't say because I don't really understand what's going on," he said when Kimmel started asking questions about this particular role.

Still, it's great to know that he's not quite done with the superhero game yet. Whether it's as Vulture in some currently unknown project or his rumored role as Batman in an HBO Max Supergirl series, more Keaton is always a good thing. Here's hoping the beloved actor eventually figures out what's going on. Though, granted, it's kind of hilarious knowing he's doing all this essentially in the dark. What a pro.
