Jordan also explained how the similarities between these anime shows and Creed 3 extend beyond fight styles. "[...] there's an inherent spirit to them in how they fight. And their bonds and relationships and all that good stuff," Jordan said. "But it's very similar to the brotherhood and bond that we have, and his relationship to his family as well. So I tried to key in on some of those key moments. And yeah, they're in there. They're in a lot of the fights."

Jordan's use of anime to shape the fight scenes in Creed 3 underscores how the genre continues to influence popular culture globally. In recent years, anime has become a major source of inspiration for artists and creators in various fields, including video games, music videos, and television series. The genre's unique visual style and approach to storytelling have made it attractive for many creators looking to push the boundaries of their respective mediums.

As Creed 3 hits theaters, how audiences react to the anime-inspired fight scenes will be interesting. Jordan's willingness to incorporate anime techniques into a major Hollywood film underscores the power of relatively unfamiliar genres to drive innovation and inspire new ideas in the entertainment industry. By combining his passion for anime with his experience as an actor and producer, Jordan has created a unique and exciting new take on the Creed franchise that promises to captivate audiences and push the boundaries of what is possible in action filmmaking.

Creed 3 will be released in theaters on March 3, 2023.
