If one thing is clear after the first few hours in Metal Gear Survive, it's that the game is going to be a grind. Surviving to the next round depends on your materials and players need to have a steady stream of resources and Kuban Energy if they want stay in the game. Luckily, some smart strategies are already emerging for the best way to get Kuban fast in Metal Gear Survive.

It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that salvage missions are one of the best ways to earn materials and stock up your base in a hurry. With that in mind, completing side missions with high ranks is going to be crucial to unlocking plans to craft better weapons and gear. Although, using this exploit can get the Kuban Energy job done a lot faster.

Keep in mind that this particular method is a bit of an exploit and is likely to make other players pretty unhappy. Use at your own risk...

First, Join a Salvage Mission session. Once you're in, unequip all gear so you can sprint directly to the objective. Place the extractor and/or clear the area of any lingering wanderers. Then, begin the waves instead of waiting for the timer to finish. Once it begins collecting Iris energy, hold [X] to interact with the extractor and immediately withdraw.

This exploit definitely isn't in the spirit of the game, but it does give players rewards when they drop out, just because they started the mission. Not the most honest route, but it gets the job done (for now at least).
