Hunting is more than just a small part of Medieval Dynasty. It has its own skill tree and most of the Survival tech tree. Gamers that want to stay alive with gusto will need to know where the best hunting is, especially when it comes time to build a village.
Even if the village is self-sufficient with crops and domestic animals, wild animals have products that boost the economy of the village. The best hunting ground in the game is a place that truly needs to be visited to be believed. Good luck carrying all the meat, fur, and leather back home!
Best Hunting Grounds
There is a pocket of land, cradled by a river to the south against the mountain range on the east. The trail goes to the west of the river, but players who cross over are in for a treat. There is enough food here to keep the villagers happy for weeks.
The most notable thing isn't just the absurd abundance. It's that players can find every wild animal in the game here. Bears, wolves, deer, badgers, lynx, boars, moose, wisent, whatever. To be sure, two new games were started twice and both games got the achievement for hunting every wild animal here and here alone. They also got the achievement quickly; throw a spear and it always seems to hit something.
Other Great Spots
Of course, hunting is usually highest in demand when bellies are empty. Gamers don't always have the luxury of heading to the admittedly out-of-the-way location at the drop of a hat. In that case, there are a few other superior spots that should keep the wife from leaving.
In the northeast portion of the map, there is a swampland with plenty of cover and fat boars. Boars are typically the easiest to hunt of the aggressive animals and the meat gathered is fantastic. To the east, just south of Rolnica and east of the trail, there is a wide variety of animals with great pelts.
