Bioware recognizes November 7 of every year as N7 Day, an event which celebrates the Mass Effect franchise. It has been nearly 14 years since the release of the original Mass Effect game on Xbox 360, and the developer has made a post on the official EA website that details how fans can join Bioware in the celebrations.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition was released earlier this year and it comes with remasters of all three numbered games, along with all of the DLC. It is a widely considered as a great way to play one of the most critically acclaimed trilogies from the seventh console generation. As a way to celebrate N7 Day, Bioware has revealed some surprising statistics related to the choices users have made while playing this remastered collection.

The image starts off by showing that only 23% of the audience used the default name, Jane or John, for Commander Shepard in Mass Effect Legendary Edition. It later proves that a vast majority of users didn’t play on high difficulty settings, as casual or normal were the most popular choices across all three games. Players can also see a percentage representation of the various endings of Mass Effect 3, with the ending where all synthetic life is destroyed being the highest at 45%. It also shows that 69% of the players saved the council in ME1, and from the ones who let the council die, 59% opted for an alien council.

It is surprising to see that 15% of the players did not even recruit Garrus, one of the most popular characters in the series, in Mass Effect 1. Just below, Garrus is seen topping an image that details the loyalty percentage of all of the crew members from Mass Effect 2.

The N7 Day celebrations continued as Bioware took this opportunity to release a teaser image for the upcoming mainline game in the Mass Effect series. There is a lot of speculation around what the image entails, and hopefully fans will not have to wait for long before they get to see more from the game.

In addition to Mass Effect, Bioware is also busy with the development of Dragon Age 4, which was first revealed in 2018 at The Game Awards. While EA has not revealed much from the game, a recent GeForce Now leak suggests that Dragon Age 4 may release sooner than fans may have expected. Regardless, it looks like Bioware fans will have to plenty to look forward to in the coming years.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is now available on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
