With a little less than two weeks to go before the release date for Mass Effect: Andromeda, the developers at BioWare are attempting to share as much information about the forthcoming science fiction shooter as possible before launch, with the studio putting out a fresh piece of footage today that highlights the game's Tempest ship and its crew. While previous gameplay trailers have touched on some details involving protagonists Scott and Sara Ryder's space-faring vessel, this most recent video provides additional context that may assist newcomers in understanding its functionalities and the characters on-board.

As seen below in the Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer courtesy of IGN, the Tempest is equipped with a loadout station that allows players to customize their character's weapons, armor, and abilities, while also affording the chance to alter the attributes of the game's Nomad exploration vehicle. Not to mention, fans will also be able to pay a visit to the asari companion Peebe to buy and sell items, research items, and access the Strike team missions that are to connect both the game's single and multiplayer.

Aside from Peebee, this most recent Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer gives fans an idea of what it will be like to interact with other crew members like the Tempest's science officer Dr. Suvi Anwar and the ship's salarian pilot Kallo Jaft. Security and response specialist Liam Kosta, chief engineer Gil Brodie, the elder krogan Nakmor Drack, and the turian Vetra Nyx are all also featured within the trailer as well, as it hammers the point home how every interaction with these characters on the ship will change throughout the game as decisions are made during the campaign.

Interestingly enough, Mass Effect: Andromeda's Tempest trailer wasn't the only piece of footage released by BioWare today. With the action-RPG set to go live toward the end of this month, BioWare decided to amp fans up with a launch trailer that attempts to encapsulate all of the action, drama, romance, and epic exploration that represent the sum of what Andromeda has to offer.

Ever since BioWare had been deep in development with Mass Effect: Andromeda, the studio has managed to stay on the ball in terms of unpacking the title's features with gameplay footage, and this most recent trailer is a great example of the developer's ability to provide a solid idea of what kind of materials will be available in the game while not giving too much away. Of course, there are also a plethora of video clips online that have the potential to spoil some elements of Andromeda, as BioWare has also put out the beginning 13 minutes of the game to hook and reel fans in.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to launch on March 21, 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
