In advance of N7 Day, BioWare releases a short teaser trailer for Mass Effect Andromeda that hints more details and information is coming on November 7.

After finishing the final game in the Mass Effect trilogy in 2012, fans have been eagerly awaiting any sort of information regarding the future of the franchise. BioWare has continued to keep the community in suspense after teasing the next entry in the franchise with Mass Effect Andromeda at E3 2015. So far, it's been a slow burn for details on what fans can expect though with 2016 quickly coming to a close and an early 2017 release planned for Andromeda, but news regarding the game is coming much sooner than many may think.

To help stir up excitement for fans, BioWare has released a one minute video set as a sort of promotional video for the fictional Andromeda Initiative. The recruitment style ad features footage from the Moon as two N7-armored characters stare out at the distant Earth. Though not specifically stated, it's heavily implied that these two are the previously revealed sibling protagonists players will choose to play as.

The short teaser then pulls back revealing what appears to be a mass relay, the structure that enabled players to travel great distances in the previous games but was destroyed at the end of the trilogy. The video ends with a big tease stating that orientation begins on November 7, 2016.

Of course, longtime fans know that this date is also referred to as N7 Day, a day BioWare created to celebrate the Mass Effect community and to commemorate to original launch of the first game in the popular franchise. Since then, N7 Day is celebrated by both the studio and community with fan creations, behind the scenes reveals, online events, and other community focused activities.

Fans have waited a very long time to learn more details regarding the latest entry to the Mass Effect franchise. As 2017 approaches, the gears are starting to turn a bit faster as a couple of months ago, fans got a surprising and tantalizing first glimpse at actual gameplay from the upcoming third person RPG. Thanks to the PlayStation Pro event in New York City, fans were able to see the main character and other squad mates move around an alien enviornment which reacted to player movement. While not much context could be gleamed from the footage, there's no doubt that long times fans appreciated seeing the game in action.
