The day is almost upon us where we must stand together to take back Earth. Next Tuesday, March 6th, the Reaper invasion begins with Mass Effect 3 finally hitting retail. Rarely does a video game story resonate with fans so strongly and credit must go to where credit is due. The team at BioWare have crafted an experience with the Mass Effect series that's earned a spot at the very top of our most anticipated games of the year list (twice, thanks to a delay).
Every day for the last two months, we've had something to write about for Mass Effect 3, and Electronic Arts is making damn sure the the gaming community is paying attention. The last few weeks saw the live-action 'Fight' trailer, and the full extended version of the 'Take Back Earth' trailer. Today, it's come time for BioWare and EA to share the official Mass Effect 3 launch trailer.
While this trailer is absolutely exciting, powerful and emotional, it's slightly difficult to recommend you watch it right now. It's almost better to not know - some of our own Game Rant staff are avoiding it - and savor the experience for when you get the game next week. That being said, it's incredible so make your choice (you get 5 Renegade points for watching):
The trailer does show a lot, most notably a variety of scenes which depict what may be the final confrontation at the end of the game and several key battles and character moments.
With a countless amount of DLC, from multiplayer add-ons coming with tie-in merchandise, to day one story DLC which has fans up in arms, all piling onto a game that already will run players 30-40 hours, the world's productivity will fall next week.
