When compared to the incredibly messy launch and lukewarm initial reception to Mass Effect Andromeda, BioWare's latest title, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, has been not only incredibly smooth but also quite successful. The Legendary Edition packages the classic Shepard Trilogy together while also updating the games including visuals, making additional improvements, and other changes, especially to the first game. The release has proven to be a boon for BioWare as the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition has sold extremely well, topping various charts.

For as much success that the Legendary Edition has seen, it hasn't always been a flawless experience. Although the game updates a lot of the frustrating bits from the original games like Mass Effect's Mako, glitches have appeared which have them found their way online through social sites like Reddit. Although nothing has been as wild as the type of visual glitches seen in Mass Effect Andromeda, fans managed to find a few odd behaviors happening in Mass Effect 3.

The latest was found by Reddit user Glubba who was in a conversation regarding potentially launching a rescue mission at the Citadel. Captured through a screenshot, Glubba's version of Commander Shepard is about to make a dialogue choice, but quite distractingly, their eyes appear to be bulging out. Naturally, seeing Shepard with overly large eyes has triggered plenty of comments on the thread, with many referencing classic Mass Effect memes such as he's using his special eyes.

Thankfully, this appears to simply be a visual glitch, not something that's going to ruin a playthrough. Recently, another player discovered a similar visual bug with fan favorite character Liara T'Soni. The Asari was in a conversation with Shepard, discussing the events of Mass Effect 3 and the artificial intelligence EDI. After moving over to a computer terminal, the Liara's head turned almost 180 degrees to look back at Shepard to continue the conversation, while her body continued to face the opposite way.

Thankfully, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition has been pretty solid all around, launching without much in the way of critical issues or bugs. In fact, the launch of the Legendary Edition has seemingly had an unforseen impact on Mass Effect Andromeda. Not only have fans started returning to the much maligned title, but former developers have also started opening up regarding the game's rough development period. The additional insight as well as the time away has seemingly been a benefit for the game as some fans who were once turned off have discovered that Andromeda has more redeeming qualities than they originally thought.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
