Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are just under two weeks away from their joint release, with the heroes swinging their way to PS4 and PS5 very soon. As such, more details regarding the games have been shared with the public, including certain aspects of the Spider-Man Remastered trophy list.

In a reply to the Twitter thread detailing the trophy list for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a fan asked Insomniac if Spider-Man Remastered would “have a separate platinum from the PS4 version.” The studio’s official Twitter account replied to the user, named GGMattt, by saying yes and confirming that “there’s also several all-new trophies.” This is undoubtedly great news for trophy hunters, as Spidey fans who care about the shiny badges of honor have something new to strive for in the remaster.

While it had been previously confirmed that PS5’s version of Spidey would have a new trophy list, it was unclear if there would actually be new trophy objectives or if it would simply be a reskin of the PS4 list. This confirmation ensures that there will not only be new trophies to collect, but another platinum trophy as well. With the recently leaked PS5 feature regarding trophy progress tracking, completing the list should be a good bit easier for dedicated fans.

The Spider-Man PS5 remaster also includes brand new suits, one of which is The Amazing Spider-Man movie costume. While the other suits have yet to be revealed, it is worth noting that all three Spider-Man Remastered suits are confirmed to come to PS4 at some point. However, players looking to experience the new visuals and controller feedback, such as ray-traced reflections and adaptive triggers, will need to be playing the PS5 version of the game with the new DualSense controller.

Aside from new suits and the brand-new trophy list for Spider-Man Remastered, the updated version of the game will also include a new face for Peter Parker. The heavily discussed change sparked plenty of controversy, with death threats being sent and more lighthearted players making appreciation posts for the old Peter Parker model. While players are no doubt going to be excited about playing a prettier version of the game and earning new trophies within it, the Spidey fanbase is clearly taking some time to make an adjustment to the webslinger’s new look.

Peter’s new face will not only be seen while players earn the new trophies in the PS5 version of Spider-Man, but some clever promotional material for Spider-Man: Miles Morales has shown off the redesign as well. Most trophies will be earned with a mask on, however, so even the biggest haters of the redesign are likely to praise Insomniac for the inclusion of the new list.

Spider-Man: Remastered releases as part of the Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS4 and PS5 on November 12.
