Marvel's Spider-Man's Advanced suit is an original suit concept from Insomniac Games and was met with enthusiasm and contention. The iconography that distinguishes Insomniac's Advanced suit apart from Peter Parker's other costumes is certainly its enlarged white spider insignia. The Advanced suit is an amalgam of other source material suit designs, including the white spider's body resembling Venom's insignia.

Funny enough, the spider insignia's long legs were also featured in the distinctly makeshift Amazing suit from The Amazing Spider-Man (2012). But Peter's costume in Marc Webb's sequel ultimately forgoes the original's novelty for a suit that closely emulates the web-slinger's traditional red-and-blue iconography. One fan of Marvel's Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) has shared a fan artist's interpretation of the two suits in a crossover edit.

ChamarMoore shares a fantastic piece of fan art from s0iderman, depicting a crossover combination of Insomniac's Advanced suit and the red-and-blue suit from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Marvel's Spider-Man's Advanced suit is superimposed in s0iderman's edit overtop of the film's suit, giving fans a fair glimpse at what a live-action interpretation of the Advanced suit could look like. Large white lenses replace The Amazing Spider-Man's angular yellow lenses, but SanjaySting believes that the white spider "compliments the eyes really well" in s0iderman's edit.

Because Spider-Man's traditional color scheme is instantly recognizable in popular culture, it may have been a clever choice for Insomniac to not create a more radical design for Marvel's Spider-Man's defining suit. Further, this may be why the Advanced suit and the film's suit pair so well together. Each costume has features that mirror the other, though the color on the film's suit appear slightly darker and its webbing pattern has more linework throughout.

The fan artist, s0iderman, has produced many edits of different suits crossing over onto a screenshot from Spider-Man in a live-action film, demonstrating what the character's alternate appearances might look like. Marvel's Spider-Man does not include The Amazing Spider-Man 2's suit, though it has appeared in a number of fan-requested wish lists for the game and its unannounced sequel. Between Marvel's Spider-Man's enduring community and its abundance of costume wish lists, there is a lot of creativity and speculation going around with regard to sequels and updates.

Insomniac may never viably please every fan and grant their requests in upcoming installments, but fans enjoy imagining new suit interpretations and designs. Aside from Marvel's Spider-Man's myriad suit requests, fans have produced interesting suit concepts that combine different suit features into new designs.

Marvel's Spider-Man is available now on PS4 and PS5.
