A Spider-Man: Miles Morales player notices an interesting detail when comparing the game's version of Fisk Tower to that of the 2018 Marvel's Spider-Man. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is the 2020 sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man and gives players a chance to swing through the streets of New York as a different webslinger. Story wise, Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place one year after the events of the first game, leaving Peter Parker mostly out of the plot to give Miles more time to shine and establish himself as a successful Spider-Man in his own right.

However, there are some key differences despite Miles Morales and Marvel's Spider-Man sharing a lot of the same mechanics, game world, and more. One of these main differences is in the villains that both Spider-Men face in the games. While the 2018 Marvel's Spider-Man is full of twists on iconic characters like the Rhino, Electro, and Doctor Octopus. On the other hand, Spider-Man: Miles Morales' main villain is the Tinkerer, the leader of a high-tech criminal army.

However, even if some of the many Spider-Man villains don't make big appearances in Miles Morales, some of them are still showing their influence in New York City. Reddit user 1400Diggg recently posted their interesting discovery around Fisk tower in Spider-Man: Miles Morales. In the 2018 Marvel's Spider-Man, Fisk Tower is under construction, but a year later in Spider-Man: Miles Morales the building looks complete, acting as another large structure for players to climb on and swing from.

Wilson Fisk, the owner of Fisk Tower, is also known as the Kingpin, a character who appears as an antagonist in Marvel's Spider-Man, being the first major villain Peter Parker faces. The Kingpin appears in other Marvel media too, including his portrayal by Vincent D'Onofrio in both the Daredevil and Hawkeye shows. Kingpin also has a cameo in Spider-Man: Miles Morales and alongside that small appearance, to know his Tower has finished construction may indicate his resurgence in New York City, even as he runs his empire from behind bars.

This detail could indicate a return for Kingpin in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, or could just be a great piece of attention to detail by Insomniac. For those that want to see more Kingpin in their Spider-Man games, a mod for the PS4 version of Marvel's Spider-Man made the giant brawler playable. Mods for the PC version of the game have also been changing up who players swing around New York as, even making Kermit the Frog playable.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is available now for PS4 and PS5, with a PC version coming on November 18.
