Marvel’s Spider-Man is full of great details, and one place that players can find plenty is the game’s social media feed. However, one exchange on this feed has gone unseen by several Marvel’s Spider-Man fans.

The conversation was posted by Reddit user sammcoefc180, and it sees Peter and Aunt May talking on the game's social media feed. The posts start with Aunt May thanking Martin Li, otherwise known as Mr. Negative, for letting her work at FEAST. With Aunt May’s work at the homeless shelter and her relationship with Li being a major focus of recent comics, seeing a less well-known storyline brought to life in-game was a nice surprise. However, while Aunt May is proud of her “5 years” on the job with Li, her nephew is quick to point out her flawed typing.

Aunt May is seen using all caps in her social media post, something that sees Insomniac’s Peter Parker teaching her how to use the internet properly. While he does praise her and call her the “best role model,” the webslinger’s sense of humor kicks in when he asks her to turn off her caps lock. Jokingly typing “ALL CAPS” and using a silly hashtag, Peter clearly gets a kick out of his aunt’s struggles. The dialogue does not end there, though, as Aunt May has an adorable reply that many will likely find relatable.

Peter’s loving Aunt adds that she’s “still learning” how to post on the internet, asking Peter if she did a better job on her second attempt. While the caps are gone, and he replies with “perfect” alongside an emoji, Aunt May has the opposite problem with her follow-up post. This time around, nothing is capitalized at all, showing that she is still far from mastering her internet posting. While this Marvel's Spider-Man detail is far from a game changer, it is a lot of fun, as many can likely think of a similar situation in their own lives where they tried to teach a family member to use the internet.

However, a big part of what makes this dialogue so interesting is how sammcoefc180 has been playing “since day one” and has only just seen it. He is hardly alone, either, as another Marvel’s Spider-Man fan named Used_Teacher_8970 also missed this little touch. As pointed out by some other commenters, there are a lot of fun conversations and easter eggs hidden within the social feed. With so many posts to look through, though, it is not too surprising that some gamers missed out on this talk between Aunt May and Peter.

While it remains to be seen if the next Marvel’s Spider-Man game will have a social feed, it certainly seems like many would like to see it return. The feature adds a lot of life to the game’s world, making it feel as if real people are being impacted by the wall-crawler’s actions.

Marvel’s Spider-Man is available now on PS4 and PS5.
