Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy combines third-person shooter combat with a decision-based story, but also contains a lot of Easter Eggs and collectibles to search for. Finding a Guardian Collectible will unlock a conversation with one of the team members, where they delve into a particular moment of their past.
Locating all of these personal items for one team member in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will also unlock the "Managerial Skills" Trophy/Achievement, and finding half of all Guardian Collectibles in will earn players “Thoughtful Captain.” Peter Quill’s (AKA Star-Lord’s) collectibles are the easiest to find, as it only takes until Chapter 7 to find all 3 of them.
There are 3 collectibles to locate for every team member. Keep in mind that if replaying chapters in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, players must finish each one again in order to add the items to their collection across all playthroughs. This ensures they count toward the 2 Trophies/Achievements.
Where to Find All Peter Quill Guardian Collectibles in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy
1. Ravager Comm Bracelet - Chapter 1
The first Guardian collectible for Peter Quill is the Ravager Comm Bracelet found in Chapter 1. It is located immediately after Peter falls down an unavoidable gap and gets separated from Rocket and Groot. Right after starting Rocket's bet that can lead to unlocking the "Eat it, Rodent" Trophy/Achievement in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Once players have control of Peter again, crawl through the tunnel with the pink residue attached, and as soon as Peter has exited, players will see a clump of brittle grey resin in the right-hand corner. Shoot it to reveal the Ravager Comm Bracelet, and pick it up to add to Peter's collection.
2. Chitauri Sear-Cuffs - Chapter 3
The second Peter Quill Guardian Collectible is located after players have crossed the first bridge where they can encourage Drax to throw Rocket in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy during Chapter 3. After fighting the creature on the other side, go to the next area and use Gamora's ability to reach a ledge on the left. Shoot the brittle resin at the top to drop the large block.
Use Drax's ability to place the block beside the lone ledge on the right-hand side of the area. Jump up and go all the way to the edge of the cliff and double jump to the ledge below Peter, to the right. If players are struggling to find this ledge, use his visor to spot the yellow glowing objects below.
Once the second cliff edge is reached, look to the left to find the Chitauri Sear-Cuffs collectible. Not long ahead, players can rethink their decision whether they should sell Rocket or Groot in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. This choice will alter how Chapter 4 turns out, and where the collectibles are placed.
3. Galactic War Commendation - Chapter 7
The last Guardian Collectible for Peter in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is located in Kor-El's office. Once players have entered and watched the cutscene, go to the blue flag on the left-hand side of the desk to find the Galactic War Commendation on the floor beside it.
Finding all of one character's personal collectibles will also change the ending in Marvel's Guardians of Galaxy by adding to the epilogue for that Guardian.
