After teasing the Infinity Stones on Twitter, Square Enix has now confirmed that its Avengers project will indeed be at E3 2019. The game will be called Marvel's Avengers, and it will have its world premiere during Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference on June 10 at 6pm PT.

While it's too early to say just how much we'll see of Marvel's Avengers at E3 2019, things are looking good for a substantial reveal. After all, Square Enix has been teasing it for weeks, and it has even updated its social media pages with the game's freshly revealed logo. And  even if the game is only given a cinematic trailer or something during Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference, that doesn't mean that a deeper dive can't happen later in the week.

In fact, it's also been announced by Geoff Keighley that there will be an E3 Coliseum showcase of Marvel's Avengers the following day, on Tuesday, June 11. An exact time for the Avengers E3 Coliseum event wasn't offered by Keighley, unfortunately, but more specific details should come as we get closer to E3.

When Square Enix does reveal Marvel's Avengers to the world on June 10, it will be interesting to see if it confirms any of the rumors or leaked information about the game. For example, a job posting by Crystal Dynamics seemed to suggest that Marvel's Avengers is a next-gen game for the PS5 and next Xbox, as opposed to a project targeting current-generation consoles like the PS4 or Xbox One.

Another leak for Marvel's Avengers claimed that the game would be a third-person shooter with cover-based shooting and stealth elements. Besides the combat system for Marvel's Avengers, leaks have also touched on the story, revealing that the game will have emotionally-charged moments and that it's aiming to be Game of the Year whenever it releases.

Whether or not Marvel's Avengers is GOTY material remains to be seen. We still know next to nothing about the project, but that should change come Square Enix's E3 2019 press conference on June 10.

Marvel's Avengers is in development for unspecified platforms.
