A lot of content and changes have been added to Marvel's Avengers since its launch. Marvel's Avengers' broken pre-release promises and general issues with its Games as a Service model have caused contention with its community of players, let alone the tease of Spider-Man's introduction to Marvel's Avengers and the wait that players have had to endure since.

But last week, Crystal Dynamics revealed what was the first yet brief look at Marvel's Avengers' Spider-Man in a livestream, though the reveal was subtly obscured. With Spider-Man featured in Crystal Dynamics' livestream this Friday, November 12, it appears as though marketing is in full swing for the wall-crawler. Now, the prolonged wait to see what Spider-Man's default appearance will look like is finally over as official marketing for Peter Parker's With Great Power downloadable-content shares our first look.

Marvel's Avengers has recently shared the promotional key art for Spider-Man's With Great Power DLC campaign. Spider-Man is featured front-and-center in this key art with little details on his costume that create a unique design for Marvel's Avengers. Besides the iconic red-and-blue color scheme, Spider-Man's suit features a lot of intricate lining patterns and a dark color on the undersides of his hands, but most notably there is an interesting chest insignia of a spider with slimy-looking legs.

But despite the debut of Spider-Man's original design being exciting, it is true that the number of opportune cosmetics will also be welcomed by players who enjoy the Marketplace cosmetic options that have been introduced into Marvel's Avengers. It will be interesting to see those takes on MCU-inspired skins as well as other original concepts in the future when Spider-Man officially releases.

Marvel's Avengers' synopsis for the With Great Power campaign was previously shared and does not appear to introduce any new environments or enemies specific to its content, but PlayStation users are likely excited for the character's addition nonetheless. Marvel's Avengers also shares that the first trailer for Spider-Man's With Great Power content will debut tomorrow, so PlayStation fans have even more to look forward to in the near future.

While it is unfortunate that not every platform will have access to Spider-Man, it has always been an enticing draw to purchasing Marvel's Avengers on either PS4 or PS5. It took an egregiously long time and fans have had to be patient with their excitement, but fortunately Spider-Man's release in Marvel's Avengers is slated for November 30, and marketing will likely continue with additional cosmetics and gameplay previews being shared until that date.

Marvel's Avengers is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
