Marvel’s Avengers spent much of 2021 recovering from its rocky launch, so many are hoping that 2022 is a good year for the game. As players wait to see what Marvel’s Avengers will have to offer in the new year, two creative fans have designed their own roadmap for the game.

While Marvel’s Avengers players have made some rather bold suggestions in the past, the ones from WolverineKuzuri93 and Smoky_Cave are relatively fair. The players essentially visualize the leaked content for the game as well as what was officially teased by Crystal Dynamics, with a few of their own suggestions incorporated. The fan made roadmap perfectly captures the style that Crystal Dynamics has used for its own roadmaps, making it look as official as possible.

For the month of January, the creative fans keep things tame. Hawkeye’s Captain America: Civil War outfit is highlighted, while returning events are also mentioned. The players also push for Spider-Man: No Way Home costumes, something that is not too surprising given the fact that all the other heroes have been getting MCU looks. With the film proving to be a massive success, and standout outfits like the Integrated suit featured, it would make sense for Crystal Dynamics to add some MCU suits for the PlayStation exclusive hero soon.

February is when the players suggest She-Hulk should be added, with the pair outlining a proper Operation for the long-rumored hero. The story missions would seemingly lead to a boss battle against Red Hulk, though the community would likely take issue with this due to the already similar Maestro and Abomination fights. Regardless, She-Hulk seems to be coming, so this is a logical addition. March would add some She-Hulk content based on the upcoming Disney+ series, with a villain sector that brings back MODOK suggested as well. With his boss fight exclusive to the singleplayer story, this is something many fans have requested for months.

In this hypothetical roadmap, an April Operation would focus on Ultron, making good on all the teases involving Roy. A raid against the antagonist is also mentioned. The players would like to see Winter Soldier added in May, with Bucky getting a new story and enemy type – with the new foes likely taking the form of Hydra. An Ultron horde mode is also highlighted. The realistic roadmap for the first half of 2022 ends with June, which would bring the previously delayed Patrol mode to Marvel’s Avengers. Other content includes an emote wheel and aerial takedowns, which are two more mechanics that are requested often.

As for when the next official Marvel’s Avengers roadmap is coming, fans can expect it sometime soon. Crystal Dynamics has promised that fans will see the roadmap in early 2022, so it could be coming any day now.

Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
