Marvel’s Avengers fans on PlayStation are currently looking forward to the debut of Spider-Man, with many excited to see how the webslinger interacts with the other heroes. However, one Marvel’s Avengers fan has shown off what Moon Knight could look like if he was also added to the game.

While Moon Knight has always been a relatively obscure hero, the upcoming Disney+ series should help make him a household name. Oscar Isaac will be portraying the dark character, with Mark Spector and his split personalities likely to shock those who are unfamiliar with Moon Knight. Assuming the show lives up to its potential, it would not be surprising to see a bunch of fans pushing for Moon Knight to be added to Marvel’s Avengers alongside the more high profile characters that are currently in the game.

Reddit user davidiusligmun has shared a concept that sees Marvel’s Avengers’ UI designed around Moon Knight. On the right side of this custom menu, a model of Moon Knight can be seen, with the hero’s costume being a mixture of black and white as opposed to being entirely white like it often is in the comics. Behind him, the crescent logo can be seen, with it also visible next to the “skills” section on the left side of the UI. A small image of Moon Knight is also visible on the “loadout” section, showing that the fan was careful to customize every bit of the menu in order for it to be as accurate as possible.

At the top of the UI, a Marvel’s Avengers nameplate focused entirely on Moon Knight can be seen, with the fan using one of the hero’s comic covers just like Crystal Dynamics does with some of the official designs. The hero’s outfit can be seen as well as the outline of a special emote, while custom gear has been designed for Moon Knight. A crescent dart, baton, chest piece, and cowl make up the array of custom items. A final detail sees Moon Knight getting some custom finishers, with him attacking an AIM bot from above and from ground level.

While crescent darts would give a playable Moon Knight a perfect ranged attack, it would be interesting to see how Crystal Dynamics would handle his other abilities. Having skills tied to his different personalities could be fun, as he could enter into an entirely different fighting style with the press of a button. As for his skins, there are plenty of options, though Mr. Knight would be a must-have.

Dialogue with Spider-Man and the other Avengers would surely be interesting, and it is hard not to think of the potential Moon Knight’s debut would bring. Still, fans should keep their hopes low, as he would be a very unexpected addition.

Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
