Once again, Marvel's Avengers has dropped some big announcements along with its weekly content rotation. The developers just revealed that July 27 is going to mark a major occasion as the game rolls out Omega-Level Threat: Family Reunion, multiplayer Mega Hives, and the ability to play multiple of the same Hero permanently. That is going to make the end of a July a very busy time in the game, so this week's content rotation may end up being more popular than usual.

All of these changes are arriving just about a month before players are expecting the War for Wakanda content to drop in the game, so the first summer for Marvel's Avengers has definitely been one full of growth. As players return to check out the new features, and eventually the expansion, it will be very interesting to see if they stick around and commit to the weekly grind that is also in the process of being improved.

Heroes who are ready for this week's grind can jump into the missions before they disappear next Thursday, heroes can login and head over to the map to queue up a mission. While on the map screen, they should take a moment to locate each of the Priority Missions and Challenges that appeared when week 47 kicked off Thursday morning. There are some decent rewards up for grabs and plenty of XP, so it doesn't hurt to power through this content while completing other daily or event challenges along the way.

Week 47's content is now live and heroes have the opportunity to complete all the usual amount of low or high level priority challenges to claim some guaranteed item and XP rewards. Item rewards are very exciting for players who are still working towards max power level and the XP is a nice touch for everyone powering through the Champion system, but might provide a little less motivation for maxed out heroes.

The spotlight content this week is likely quite familiar at this point and the rotating challenges attempt to deliver new motivation to revisit those missions thanks to those guaranteed rewards. The missions that are up for grabs this week offer some unique challenges and require a bit of strategy thanks to special modifiers that players will have to adjust to. Be sure to note of the modifiers listed before diving in head first. Experience heroes may already be familiar with all of the different modifiers that the game rotates through by this point and have hopefully figured out how to adjust their strategy to successfully power through the weekly grind without any real problems.

Mega Hive

"The Mega Hive is a single-player chain of eight missions that tests your team’s might. Each week you’ll have a shot at completing the Mega Hive mission chain. When you defeat all eight missions, the Mega Hive mission chain is removed from the War Table until the next weekly refresh, when you can run it again with new modifiers."

Weekly Rewards: As you progress through the Mega Hive, rewards start as basic gear, resources, and small amounts of cosmetic currency. The more missions you survive, the more resource drops increase. As you near the final mission, you’ll see better gear and artifacts awarded more often, as well as increased chances for patterns/nameplates. When you complete all eight Mega Hive missions you’ll be rewarded with exclusive goodies reserved for this gauntlet, including a significant amount of high-quality resources.
