For the first time in over a month, Marvel's Avengers players are having a week with no special limited time event. The upcoming Cosmic Cube activities will likely kick off very soon, but for now players who want to stay busy in the game are going to have to start by working through the usual weekly content challenges.

This week's rotation brings the usual lineup of priority missions and challenges to Marvel's Avengers now that the Red Room Takeover event has concluded. Some players may have been hoping that the Cosmic Cube event would start with the first week of June, but it looks like heroes are going to have to wait a little longer to learn more about those activities. For now, players can focus on racking up some extra XP with this week's challenges to continue climbing the ranks through the Champion System.

The week 40 rotation brings a chance to complete the usual amount of low or high level challenges to claim some guaranteed item and XP rewards. It's a shame that there are no limited time event chains to complete while powering through this week's activities, but the gear and XP rewards should still be enough motivation for the average player to clear out the weekly tasks over the weekend anyway.

Endgame heroes are probably already familiar with all of the different modifiers that the game rotates through by this point and have hopefully figured out how to adjust their strategy to successfully power through the weekly grind without any real problems. This week is built around content that players should be used to at this point and the rotating challenges deliver some fresh motivation to revisit existing missions thanks to guaranteed rewards. The missions that are up for grabs this week offer some unique challenges and require a bit of strategy thanks to special modifiers that players will have to adjust to.
