Marvel’s Avengers’ release date is fast approaching, launching on September 4, 2020. While Marvel’s Avengers has gotten mixed reception since its initial reveal, it will undoubtedly be one of the biggest video games released in September 2020.

Marvel’s Avengers will launch on a variety of platforms including PC. Now, a partnership has surfaced between Intel and developer Crystal Dynamics to develop PC-exclusive graphical improvements for the game on PC.

As the release date for Marvel’s Avengers draws closer, fans are wondering how exactly the game will shape up and grow over time. Marvel’s Avengers recently revealed beta stats and various game fixes based on feedback from players who participated in the closed betas that were held before launch. While the game does not have crossplay, it will be launching on a variety of platforms like PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, it seems the PC release is getting an exclusive partnership with Intel to boost graphical performance even further.

Intel confirmed the partnership earlier today through its official website, listing a variety of ways this PC-exclusive partnership will benefit the graphical fidelity of Marvel’s Avengers. Intel says it’s taking full advantage of i5, i7, and i9 processors for fully optimized gameplay. The post on Intel’s official page reads, “Higher-end PCs with the latest Intel® Core™ i9 processors will enable richer, more immersive in-game features like Enhanced Enemy Destruction, Super Charged Heroics, and Reactive Water Simulation.” Thankfully, this partnership likely won’t make fans upset like the news of Spider-Man’s PlayStation Exclusivity in Marvel’s Avengers.

Additionally, it seems the graphical effects of each hero's unique ultimate abilities have been overhauled through the partnership. Apparently the destruction caused by each ability will create “more detailed rubble and debris” that will stay on screen during gameplay longer than other platforms. There will also be enhanced enemy destruction, which will affect visual armor damage, and reactive water simulation which will affect any and all interaction with water through the game. The PC version of Marvel’s Avengers is likely going to be the most impressive version of the game from a visual standpoint, provided players have the proper hardware.

As noted above, while there has been mixed reception to Marvel’s Avengers for quite some time now, the game is still on track to be one of the biggest game releases this September. Players are already pre-loading Marvel’s Avengers on different platforms. Depending on the edition that players bought, the game will either unlock on September 1 or September 4. Either way, players can look up to joining friends online to smash robots as their favorite Marvel heroes very soon.

Marvel's Avengers launches on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on September 4th 2020. The game will launch later this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
