Gamers are greedy people. Give them an inch and they will take a mile. When it comes to Marvel vs. Capcom 3 character reveals, they just can’t get enough.

Thankfully Tokyo Game Show is just around the corner to help sate our appetite.

Producer Ryota Niitsuma has confirmed through the Official Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Blog that more characters will be unveiled at TGS and hinted at special guests joining the team on stage.

So far we've seen a varied mix of characters available to choose from, early reveals showcased familiar faces with some new ones tied in - but some key heroes and villains are still missing.

As time has gone on we have been introduced to unexpected characters like Dormmamu and some old friends like Viewtiful Joe. As we reported, C. Viper might also be making an appearance in game - she might be one of the reveals at TGS, considering the cat might already be out of the bag. I could speculate for hours about who else may or may not be revealed. The list of characters gamers want in the game is especially long. Obviously, with the new engine overhaul, some beloved fighters will end up on the cutting room floor. With each new trade show and event, we are that much closer to completing the silhouette.
